Federal Tire is proud to announce that its award-winning 595 RS-RR UHP tire triumphs once again in the German Design Award 2018 for its refined outlook, exceptional steering, and prolonged endurance.
Launched in 2012, the German Design Award is the top international prize of the German Design Council. Its goal: to discover, present and honor unique design trends. Conferred by the German Design Council, Germany’s leading brand and design authority, its mission is to present the latest developments on the German design scene. The 595 RS-RR receives high scores for its aesthetics and design quality from more than 5,000 entries across the world.
The superb tread patterns of 595 RS-RR UHP tire not only constitute the look of blazing wings, which celebrate the dedication to the inseparable bound between drivers and vehicles, but also symbolize Federal’s everlasting passion for motorsports excellence. These flame-shape grooves also contribute to reduced aquaplaning and increased traction in rainy conditions, which help racers and car enthusiasts stay focused on slippery roads and corners. In addition to its superior grip performance on wet circuits, the tire also delivers maximum traction on dry tracks thanks to its new silica-infused compounds.
“Winning German Design Award 2018 is testament to our dedication to tire performance and quality. It has taken leadership in design and innovative thinking to execute on the everlasting fire hawk concept and we are very proud that our 595 RS-RR has received such recognition from German Design Award Council. We will continue to improve our product competitiveness through continuous R&D concentration,” said Da-Wu Chen, Global Sales and Marketing Director of Federal Tire.
