Like finally ! Honda Malaysia has announced that the 10th-generation Honda Accord is now open for booking, at all 100 Honda dealerships nationwide.
As we can see, the all new Honda Accord has incorporated the fastback body shape for a more modern appearance in styling. The wider stance is paired with a lower hood, as well as a low-slung roofline to achieve greater road presence. Resemblance to the Honda Civic, The all-new Honda Accord also comes equipped with full-LED headlights and taillights.
The all-new Honda Accord is powered by a new 1.5-litre turbocharged VTEC engine, a first for the D-segment model. The turbocharged mill churns out 201 hp and 260 Nm of torque, which Honda says is more powerful than a 2.4-litre naturally aspirated engine.
As standard, the 10th-generation Honda Accord comes with six airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), front and rear parking sensors together with Multi-angle Rearview Camera.
Pricing information and other features will only be announced during the launch. At the meantime, here’s a video from Honda Thailand to give you an idea of what might be included in the localised version of the 10th-generation Honda Accord.
